Mean Girls?

I had Kailee and Annika make "mean faces" in their princess costumes....they are excellent at it!

Annika is Kailee's "BFF"...and every time we come home, leave home, wake up....she asks if she can play with Annika. Sometimes before bed she asks if she can play with Annika tomorrow! Great to have friends!

Bag boy...

It was a LONG day...

Some days are just harder than others when you are 4....

...today was a doozy (this is how I found her when I checked on her on my way to bed). Its tough being so sassy and energetic. Kailee gets a little tired on preschool days, takes so much effort to concentrate, listen and be good. She saves all the sassy for at home! Teacher Lisa said today that Kailee was doing very well at school! YEAH!

The fart game

This morning while eating breakfast I caught a wiff of somthing a foul. Nate and I were the only ones at the table eating.

So I asked him, "are you poopy or did you just fart"

His reply -

I guess its genetic! and its started early.

Frog Love

Nate loved this little frog today...he even wrapped it in his ki-ki.......then shushed me because it was sleeping.....

"I'm Hiding"....

This is where Nate to decided to "hide" when I told him it was time for a nap....
he loves to hide in cabinets, closets and other small dark places then wait for someone to 'find him'. He is talking more and more...and LOVES trucks of ANY kind. He will sit and watch construction workers for over an hour if you let him. "Truck"

Male Bonding

The ladies went to some Cinderella play. The boys just played at the park. Most of the time, the name of the game was 'ing' (Nate's discription for swing)

Weekend Photo Download

Kailee and I went to the bike store on Saturday. The music I was playing must have been too old school because she passed out. I sat in the parking lot with her for about 40 minutes. Her head was bobbing so much, I felt bad and held it up for her.

On Saturday evening we packed everyone up and when to Melissa's parents house for some fun.

The kids decided to they wanted a new hat (don't worry, it was new.... unused)

College Party

Sometimes life at our house is like being in college. You have to be careful, if you pass out on the couch, someone is going to try and feed you something.

Our Style

Saturday evening we had a spread for dinner. Melissa pulled out a Turkey that was frozen since Thanksgiving and cooked it up. Complete with stuffing and green bean casserole. For the past week the Turkey has been thawing in the refrigerator. Every time we opened it Nate would point and say "Tur-key." We would ask him if he wanted to eat it and he would reply "yes." Even Kailee seamed .... interested.

Well the time came and we set the table with our finest china. Everyone was excited and hungry. Shelly and Rose came over to enjoy the feast.

In the end the food was great. It was gone in a fraction of the time required to make it. The kids....... enjoyed their box of kraft Mac and Cheese.

Ready?

Think they are ready for naps? He He When Nate is ready for a nap..he heads for the stairs....this time Kailee decided if you can't beat them...join them.....maybe I should join them too.....

Sometimes you just need a little alone time...

Nate has a cold...and he just wants to chill...all alone...
