Weekend of Fun at MV UMC picnic

We went to the church picnic at Mom's church in Woodland Park.....they had a zip line, ropes course, games and a pool! Pics follow and we had a good time!

Nate and Kailee France, DDS

Kailee announced yesterday...in addition to being a cowgirl doctor...she was also going to be a dentist....guess this is a good start....
The kids did great on their visit to Dr. Jill the dentist....Kailee loves the dentist....this was Nate's first try....he did wonderful! Nate let them brush, polish, floss and fluoride his teeth.....apparently most 2 year olds don't. YEAH Nate!
By the way, he is healing well and the dentist said the chip tooth should be nothing to worry about...except with the ladies...:) His chipped tooth is the only issue remaining from the busted lip...besides a scab.

(They use the sunglasses so the light doe not shine in their eyes...cool huh!)

One little monkey

Jumping from the couch to the chair. Fell off and busted his lip!
No more monkeys jumping on the furniture.... We hope

Dance Fever

Dancing kids.....is it a bad sign when they want to dance to "Rage Against the Machine"? Only time will tell.

Dad, the Teacher

Dad did a clinic to teach others how to Cyclocross Race. Kailee spent 2+ hours enjoying a nearby kids park (Nate home with Rosie)....we all had fun watching dad teach!

This was at a park where Brian is doing a bike race clinic...we went to scope it out and found a nice park for the kids to burn off some sugar!

After 12 hours of travel...car, bus, escalator and plane....the kids finally gave up and shut their eyes! FINALLY...and don't they look comfortable?!!
They actually did great for all the travel and after being away from home for a week. Nice.

Long time...no blog

Summary:
Mom: Still coughing....and now getting ready for a road trip and week long camping trip....
Kailee: She road off on her bike...coughing the whole way and we haven't seen her since. :)
Nate: Talking, coughing and enjoying time alone with mom. :)
Dad: Looking forward to a plane ride with Nate to meet us for the camping trip....

Trip Itinerary:
Friday: Mom, Grandma and Kailee drive to Omaha, NE (8 hours)
Saturday: mom, Grandma and Kailee drive to Rock Island, IL for my cousins wedding...hoping to be there in time to clean up before a 4pm wedding.... (6 hours driving)
Sunday: Mom, Kailee and Grandma drive to Little Crooked Lake, WI for a week of camping and kayaking with relatives. Nate, Grandpa and Dad fly from Denver to Minneapolis, MN...pick up and rental car and drive 3 hours to Little Crooked Lake, WI.
Mon-Friday: Camp, have fun, do lake things and get dirty!
Friday: Our family drives from WI back to Minneapolis then flys to Denver!
Friday: Grandma and Grandpa start the drive home....without KIDS!! Lucky them!
