Look who came to the neighborhood Christmas party.


Clara and Nate were going for extra credit after everyone got some lap time.

Nate took off all on his own, kailee used the cone.... They both did awesome! When we were done Nate said "my butt hurts!".... He fell plenty of times but it did not stop him from skating non- stop for hour and a half!

Back to the Bike Park

Nate hasn't been able to stop talking and asking about going back to the bike park. So this afternoon I took him. We spent 2+ hours riding. I did whatever he wanted and he didn't want to leave. He rode almost everything. Here are some photos. (wish I had some better pictures)

Standing on the podium at the new Boulder bike park. There's a lot to do and we found many trails to ride. It took a while for them to warm up to it but they had fun.

Happy Birthday Dad

They were so excited to make Funfetti Brownies for dad....and give him there presents. Kailee gave him a stuffed seal (Christmas gift 2010) and Nate gave him a bottle cap from the recycle bin. They were both so proud of there gifts....I love kids!

Save'n the Worms

This morning Kailee and I were walking to school, well.. she rode her scooter. Anyway it had rained last night and it was a beautiful morning. She stopped and picked up every worm she could find the entire way to school and through them back into the grass. On the sidewalk in the gutter where ever they had wash during the rain. She said "I'm even throwing back the ones that look dead, just in case." She just couldn't walk by and have that on her consciences. Good deeds done! Now if I could convince her that her brother was a worm.

Award Winner...Kailee

Kailee got an award at school for "Organization". We all went along to see the grand event....it was a surprise to her...she was pretty shy about it!

Yes, its true...my kids were out in the sprinkler on March 16th....70-ish degrees and sunscreen!

Our Star of the Week

At Weber they have a "Star of the Week" each week. Kailee was chosen the week of her birthday! YEAH!! She made a poster with all kind of info about her, bring in our favorite book to be read to the class and bring in 3 favorite things to share with the class.It was a pretty big deal....during your poster you can invite your family to come....so dad went...and Gram and Papa Bon happen to be up for something else and stopped by for the poster session. She even had "butterflies" the morning of the poster....so cute!
